No Surprises Act/Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate or GFE if you do not have insurance OR if you have insurance but will not be submitting a claim to that insurance. A GFE is an estimate of how much services are expected to cost within the next 12 months. If you are not using insurance to pay for services, a GFE will be provided for you, prior to the first session. You have the right to dispute charges if they exceed the GFE by at least $400.00. Please contact me directly if there are concerns with your bill. You may also contact HHS at 1-800-985-3059 or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Payment
I accept all major credit cards as forms of payment. I also accept payment through a debit card or an HSA card. You may input this information to my secure portal where it will be stored. I am excited to share that clients can now make payments directly on the portal. We will discuss payment arrangements at the first session. As per your particular insurance policy, co-pays will be collected at the time of service and any additional fees (deductible) will be billed once we receive the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance provider.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged a $50.00 fee for missing the session.

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. Please be sure to ask if telehealth is an approved benefit. It is your responsibility to determine with your insurance company what you will owe per session. Please note that a quote of benefits does not ensure that services will be covered by your insurance company. You are responsible for payment, in the event your insurance does not cover the session.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits? Telehealth services?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
